analytics choices

Use the guides and tools without optional analytics.

This site is published by ReelRecs, Inc. Its movie worksheets run in your browser. We do not send the titles you enter, your votes, or other form text to our analytics service. The tools do not sign you into ReelRecs or change your watchlist. Your browser may restore form entries when you return.

Optional website analytics

If you choose “Allow analytics,” we use PostHog to measure which pages people visit, whether they use a tool, and whether they follow a link to ReelRecs. Tool events record a category such as “match” or “no match,” without the movie titles or votes behind it. We use a random identifier for the current browser session on this domain. We do not connect that identifier across these publications or to your ReelRecs account.

We send the page path, the site name, approved campaign labels, event time and these action categories. We omit full query strings and referring URLs. Session replay, automatic form capture, person profiles and location enrichment are disabled in this implementation. As with any web request, the service receiving it can process your network address to deliver the request.

Your choice

You can use every guide and tool without allowing analytics. On a guide or homepage, select “Analytics choices” to change your choice. “Continue without” stops future analytics events and removes the local session identifier. It does not delete events already received. Your choice is stored in this browser on this site. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals keep optional analytics off.

Hosting and links

Amazon Web Services delivers these pages and may process network and request information to operate and protect the service. Links to ReelRecs carry campaign labels identifying the publication and placement. ReelRecs and other linked services have their own privacy policies and controls.
