A worksheet for two

Find a movie
you both say yes to.

Enter up to three movies. Each person votes on the same screen. A no removes a film; two yeses make it a shared choice.

Agree on the evening before you compare films. How long do you have? What is off the table? Are rentals okay? Then bring three titles that meet those limits.

Each person answers yes, maybe or no. A no removes that film. Two yeses come first. A maybe is something to discuss, not permission to overrule someone.

Find the shared yes

Replace these sample titles with your own if you like. Use the same screen together, or pass it between you. These votes are visible to both people.

This is a website worksheet, separate from the ReelRecs app. It has no accounts or remote voting. Votes are not saved to a server.

If you get more than one yes

If several movies receive two yeses, choose the first on your list or let the person who did not choose last time pick among them.

If nothing works for both of you

Find the reason for each no. Too intense, already seen and too long are different problems. Each person adds one new title that respects the other person’s limit. You can also decide that tonight is better for separate viewing.

For regular movie nights

ReelRecs Watch+ is a different route: each person needs an account, taste ratings and membership in the group to inspect shared suggestions. That setup can be worthwhile when you want new suggestions across repeated evenings.

For one choice from three films you already have, the worksheet above may be all you need. For ongoing shared discovery, read the actual Watch+ walkthrough before installing. It explains the profiles, ratings and group steps.

Before you press play

Confirm the film and its runtime, check the provider and agree on the cost. A shared yes is a choice between these candidates, not a prediction that both people will love the film.
